Heart Evangelista declared OK after appendectomy

Kapuso star Heart Evangelista is “okay and recuperating” after undergoing an emergency appendectomy at Makati Medical Center Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Heart’s publicist Jun Lalin added that the young actress kept dozing off right after the operation while the anesthesia wore off.
The star was taping for Q11’s “Fashionistas By Heart” August 25 when she complained of pain in the lower right section of her body.
She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed of having an inflamed appendix.
Evangelista signed on for a new project with Richard Guiterrez titled “Patient X,” but had to opt out because of the surgery.
Most patients take up to 7 days off work to recuperate after appendectomy surgery.

Richard Gutierrez, iba-ban sa Robinson’s malls

Mukhang matagal ang itatakbo ng mga kasong isinampa nina Richard Gutierrez at Annabelle Rama sa website na PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at sa GMA executive na si Ms. Wilma Galvante respectively. Sa mga huling panayam kay Annabelle, sinasabi pa nito na may kinalaman si Ms. Galvante sa umano’y paninira ng website sa kanyang anak na si Richard. Isang grupo raw ang naiinggit sa kanyang anak at gustong pabagsakin ito. At ang pasimuno nga raw ay ang lady exec ng Kapuso network.
Last Monday [April 14], nakatanggap ang PEP ng ‘cease-and-desist letter’ mula sa abogado ni Annabelle upang ipatigil ang paglalabas ng mga artikulo tungkol kay Richard. Ito ay para na rin matigil ang mga negatibong komento sa aktor mula sa mga bumibisita sa website. May section kasi roon kunsaan puwedeng mag-post ng kanilang mga komento ang mga registered user ng PEP.
Sa naturang letter ay nabanggit din daw ang Yes! Magazine na pag-aari ng Summit Media Publishing, kaya ayon sa abogado ng PEP na si Atty. Coronel, “Kung talagang ayaw na niyang mag-artista, di huwag na siyang i-feature at huwag man lang banggitin ang kanyang pangalan sa mga magazine. Pakiusapan ko na rin siguro lahat ng Robinson’s movie theaters na huwag nang magpalabas ng mga pelikula niya. Baka ayaw rin niyang mag-mall tour, di huwag na lang din siyang papasukin sa mga Robinson’s Malls.”

JC de Vera’s ‘girlfriend’ is not Rhian Ramos, source says

JC de Vera is probably sighing in relief now that the TV series Lalola is over. Simply because it will mean no more showbiz press pangungulit as to what is the real score between him and ka-loveteam Rhian Ramos.
Several reports say that JC and Rhian are really an on- and off-screen sweethearts, especially those coming from the Kapuso network’s publicity mill.
But a very reliable source reveals that JC is currently dating the niece of politician Chavit Singson.
And that JC and Rhian’s ‘romance’ is just a pakilig to the viewers of Lalola.
Now that Rhian will be once again paired with Richard Gutierrez for the new TV series Zorro , fans of JC and Rhian will have to wait and see if their romance goes beyond the publicity of Lalola.
