Our Kapamilyas are in for a delectable treat as ABS-CBN serves the TV remake of the Koreanovela ‘Only You’ starting on April 27.
Starred by three of the most talented stars in the industry, Angel Locsin, Sam Milby, and Diether Ocampo graces the most awaited series on primetime.
When asked what she felt upon learning that she will part of ‘Only You,’ Angel answered enthusiastically, “Sobrang happy ako, kasi trabaho na ulit, ‘di ba? And super excited ako dahil iba naman ito dahil nasanay ako na fantaserye ‘yung mga ginagawa ko. ‘Yung sa ‘Lobo’ drama naman or sa ‘Love Me Again’. Ito may bago. Parang nakaka-challenge, ‘di ba? Kasi iba na naman ‘yung approach.
“Kailangan very light dahil recession tayo ngayon. Kailangan nating aliwin ‘yung mga tao. Tulungan natin silang makalimutan pansamantala ang mga problema.”
Diet shared, “Coming from a very successful teleserye, siyempre you want to surpass your accomplishments in the past. But more than the pressure, like what I said, I am more excited and challenged to do a project that will give us a totally different feel. And, you know, it’s always nice to offer something new to the viewers.”
Sam, on the other hand, mentioned, “Because of ‘Only You’ nakarating ako ng Korea. Kakaibang experience talaga. More than the thought na trabaho talaga ang reason ng pagpunta namin do’n, ini-enjoy pa rin namin ang pag-stay sa Korea.”
The story of ‘Only You’ revolves around people who are searching for their happiness and how this search will change their lives forever. The TV series also stars Tirso Cruz III, Al Tantay, Dimples Romana, Iya Villania, Irma Adlawan, Candy Pangilinan, Bing Pimentel, Ella Cruz, and Dick Israel.
Under the direction of Rory Quintos, Angel plays the role of Jillian, a very stubborn and proud girl who has a passion for cooking. Her high school friend, Jonathan (Diether), loves her dearly and shares her passion for cooking. On the other hand, TJ (Sam), is from a wealthy family who owns a large hotel and various restaurants. As the story progresses, each will touch the life of the other and this will spark love.

Angel Locsin, Diether Ocampo, and Sam Milby to shoot in Korea

Some scenes for the Pinoy adaptation of the Koreanovela Only You will be shot exclusively in Korea. ABS-CBN’s newest soap will star Angel Locsin, Diether Ocampo and Sam Milby.
Moreover, in a short tete-a-tete with Angel, the actress related to some members of the press that she is really excited about doing the project right away. In fact middle of this month, the group will fly to Korea to start the shoot.
Some of our colleagues even bantered with the actress that it will be ‘cold’ in Korea this time of year…a good excuse for Luis Manzano, Angel’s boyfriend, to follow suit. The actress sportingly laughed off the quick but witty quip.
On a more personal note, Becky Aguila’s ward seemed to be taking care of herself to the hilt nowadays owing to her present sexy and slender figure. Or could it be because of her bout with dengue? More giddy laughter ensued.
Meanwhile, fans of Sandara Park are really hoping that their idol will be included in the Only You’s roster since it will be in Sandara’s homeland where the project will be shot.
Why not, right?
There’s really nothing impossible for the Kapamilya Network.
